Our Beginning

Natasha grew up in Altgeld Gardens on the southside of Chicago. Being raised with strong family values, Natasha was able to overcome and beat the odds of her environment.

In 2006, her brother Artelle Gholar was fatally shot and killed. This tragedy had a major effect on her life. Natasha decided to put her time and energy into the youth in honor of her brother. She had a vision for inner-city youth and created the organization A.R.C.H. Natasha has and continues to organize and successfully operate within the community.
